This guy has seen no mercy over the years. When I’m doing yard work it gets all the grunt work.

These are two very, very old Case knives that belonged to my grandfather and the tan colored bone handled one was the first knife my grandfather gave me. I don't carry them and haven't in many years now, because I fear losing them. The red colored handled one was manufactured in the 1930's and the tan colored one in the 1940's.

Ok, we now have a knife forum, so we need the obligatory "Show us your knives!" thread.

Unfortunately I'm at work right now, but I will post mine up when I get home.

    Let's see 'em!

These are both Jim Curtis Knives. Top is Water Buffalo Horn with Damascus blade, bottom is tiffany blue G10. Both are used in the field and are the best field dressing knives ive had.

I picked this Hogue EX-A04 from Smoky Mountain Knife Works a few weeks ago. I'm loving it... snappy little guy.

Found a couple of my grandfather's old pocket knives; he was never without one. I don't have much knife experience, other than the normal kid fascination with anything weapon-y, and the blades we used for cleaning fish.

I think this is an Imperial, toothpick style, "fisherman's friend." No idea what year. Has the letters D & E on the badge, it's still remarkably sharp.

This other one appears to be a "Colonial Prov. USA Jigged Composition Shell Handle Bowtie Knife" according to allaboutpocketknives.com. Again, no idea on the age but it too is pretty sharp.

I'm normally good enough at internet research but I'm not finding much info other than other examples for sale. I've taken to carrying one around on me, after years (decades) of not doing so.

Here ya go Drew, a couple bow or fish tails. The switch blade is the real deal schrade Walden, NY. The other was listed as a Case XX but it’s a fake. They took “I belive” an old German Boker frame and put a Case XX slim line blade in it. 1629833811892.jpeg

This is my attempt at a modified design of a Becker BK3 and BK7 hybrid.
I made a prototype from a lawnmower blade using the stock removal method. (Bottom knife in pic 1)
I attached some DIY micarta scales and used that knife around the property for a few months. I wanted a few additional mods, but was overall happy with the weight, balance and feel.
So I reached out to James at Indy Hammered Knives and he forged this blade for me. I made the walnut scales for this knife. I also made the sheath from some old saddle leather I picked up at a Goodwill outlet! Haha
I went back to IHK probably a year later and had him make another blade. I made another set of micarta scales for this one also.
Anyways, James was great to work with and this was a lot of fun even though I didn’t actually forge the knives…

Just picked up this damascus steel straight razor at a gun show last weekend. No identifying markings on it of any kind, but it sure looks nice to me. The edge is a little banged up and not sharp enough to shave, but hopefully I can fix that.
