I would like to see how this turns out... When I was in Spain I used to debate with professors all of the time about self defense and firearms etc. Basically if you kill someone who breaks into your house you go to jail if you kill them and if you seriously hurt them then you pay for them the rest of your life... They could not understand the concept of the castle doctrine or anything else and said I had no regard for human life... Some people got it but others just could not understand "our culture" as they put it.

Rhino ....... Never buy a katana. Your friend, printcraft.

Can you image the thread he would put up within a couple weeks of owning one of those? IF he was alive or not in the hospital with hands to type with that is hahaha

Beware the man who only owns one weapon, he probably knows how to use it very well.

Can you imagine wars fought with these weapons?!?! If you didn't die from the wounds then gangrene probably would finish you off! You always hear about chivalry but not about how brutal it was to live back then.

    To All,

I question whether the katana from the Spanish article is just a "decorative" sword. I own a practical katana. A friend of mine owns two (2) "decorative" swords, a bastard sword and a gladius. Those wounds look a LOT more like what my sword would produce than my friends.

    Regards,

    Doug

I agree with lib01 those wounds look very clean cuts compared to the flat edge on decorative swords I've seen. Never doubt a serious blade or a man defending himself.
