It's already democrat leadership. The best time to do it would be when Republicans are expected to win by a landslide like they are predicting 2022.

In the omnibus spending bill passed and signed into law the other day, there was several new ATF requirements. Denied Nics check now will require a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. If you are denied on a NICS check you will be investigated by the feds to determine if you are a prohibited person. Criminally.
