It's about time they got on with this. I, for one, am glad to see an end to the gaslighting. They're coming for the guns. All of them. And they've always been coming for all of them.
Agreed. When something like this came up on a FB page the other day, I said something similar…good, play the hand you’ve always wanted to. Do it now. Please, go for it all.

OK, I read the headline and think, "The day after the leak that Dementia Joe is mad about his staff walking back his comments, they walk back his comments."

White House clarifies president's controversial comment on handguns, his stance on potential ban

Mmmmmm, no. More below from the guy who was arrested going to visit Nelson Mandela, was a truck driver, and was in the top 25% of his law school class (if sorted in descending sequence he was.)

That same day, Biden appeared to suggest that 9mm be characterized as 'high-caliber' weapons and should be banned. The remarks came outside the White House following his trip to Uvalde.

Recounting a visit to a New York trauma hospital, Biden said doctors showed him X-rays of gunshot wounds.

"They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body," Biden said.

"You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed," Biden said. "You couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weaponry."

Here's the last sentence. Maybe "high-caliber" will be the new "assault-weapons" term: completely made up, allows support/opposition from a position of ignorance, applies to anything you want banned.

Handguns in 9mm are the most popular in the United States, and are not considered "high-caliber" by most firearms experts.

Wait, he says .22s are ok? Doesn't he know that the dreaded, evil looking AR-15 is a fancy .22???

Wanna see his head explode? Tell him that AR-15s are .22 that he says is ok because it "doesn't blow your lungs out"!
If you told him that he would stand in slack-jawed incomprehension until the next MDA talking point downloaded and he put his pie hole back in gear.

This is a perfect example of why no one should believe in anything that comes out of Biden's ice-cream hole. His own press secretary might as well come out and say as much. "Hey everybody, Take everything my boss has to say with a grain of salt because I will most likely have to walk it back" That mush brain Biden has no credibility.

I was just thinking that. Also I think it would be The 1903 Springfield as the point where military small arms actually surpassed the ones in civilian hands.
You mean the 1903 Springfield that was only developed (by infringing on Mauser patents) after 7mm Mausers nearly handed the US its ass at San Juan Hill?
