Made the trek from ND to IN Firday-Saturday:rockwoot:.... 20 hrs (including stops w/ a 2hr nap) and 1200 miles. And NO, I did not bring the snow. It was clear and dry when we left.
It was NOT fun packing up the truck in -18/-23WC. An almost 50 degree temperature swing and it was snowing, but I'll take it! Already had to pull my neighbor's truck out a of massive drift... OK, it was only about 10" deep and he had an F-250 which explains a LOT!:hehe:

Anyways... getting settled in. Going to drop off U-Haul and take my ND neighbor to the airport. Couldn't have done it without him. Going to miss my awesome neighbors, but will get to see them in the fall when I head back for upland and waterfowl hunting! Looking forward to making new friends here in Indiana! :ar15::buddies:

Thanks again to dieselrealtor for helping find our house and making the ENTIRE process seamless and easy.

Welcome. Good timing with the warm up right around the corner.

Get the furniture arranged, the curtains put up, the reloading press set up in the basement and then we'll go shoot some guns.

Congrats! And if you need a driving buddy for when you go back up there in the fall for all of that hunting, please PICK ME, PICK ME!!!

But in all seriousness glad to know you've made it down here, and hopefully you haven't thrown away that blow torch just yet...

Welcome, new hoosier. You'll already have noticed it's a little more closed in here, but it's not too awful bad. Have enjoyed reading about your moving preps. Now tell us what you see of our little state with your fresh eyes. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
    Welcome home!

You're just in time for basketball sectionals. Dont even think about self-identifying as a Hoosier until you've attended one. It's also part of the LTCH application questionnaire as well.

You're not officially a Hoosier until you start *****ing about DST. ;)

Now you have done it, you have awakened the Godzilla thread.
