Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

Bought my M44 for $200 or $250 and sold it for $450 a couple months ago with 60 or 80 rounds of ammo.

I passed on them when they were under 100, same with sks. Humm maybe I should have grabbed as many as I could have. It's always nice to have something you purchased go 4x

I purchased 4 (2 were carbine) for $300 a few years back. Prices I see now are crazy. I can’t see paying the ridiculous prices. Guess it’s like a previous poster pointed out …. Current buyers don’t remember the original prices.
Kind of the same thing with SKS prices.

I see the ordinary rifles selling for around $300 or so but $450 plus seems high to me. I do have a Remington that never left the US and not military marked that probably would sell for those prices.

Any experience getting those prices?

Your Remington is worth much more IMHO

I am currently cataloging my collection for insurance purposes and serial numbers. Some firearms are hard to determine value because they are odd. For instance some civil war rifles or K98s in various states.
