What a great quote.Beat me to it.
"Quantity has a quality all it's own".
I can think of several instances where that quote would fit perfectly. Google says it was from Joseph Stalin, I don't think I will credit him when I use it.

I wonder if that includes the ones that are at the bottom of the lake from when I wrecked my boat?I think the number is considerably higher. Most people will lie or understate to a poll about this. I personally wouldn’t answer, although whatever “list” there is, I am sure I made it long ago.
Do you mean like the Ruger Precision type, because while being bolt action it has all the evil looks of an AR style? - I'd say maybe? But that's very few rifles in the big picture.Does MSR include bolt action?
Ok, but YOU have to ruck it, and it can't be a Lima.Dammit, if your doing that.. I would rather have a surplus M240B
Forget that, it’s going on a vehicle mount on the back of my old 3500hdOk, but YOU have to ruck it, and it can't be a Lima.
NoDoes MSR include bolt action?
"The term “modern sporting rifle,” aka MSR, was coined to describe today’s very popular semi-automatic rifle designs . . ."
Prepare to merge!
Technical, (American version, 3500HD) I like the way you think. Need to upgrade to an M2 in the future though.Forget that, it’s going on a vehicle mount on the back of my old 3500hd
But the lard gut governor from illinois says 29,000 people registering their assualt weapons is a good percentage of those owning them. The 2,400,000 foid card holders actually own very few so AR's and AK's are not in common use in that state. Seems to me he is either a fat liar or as stupid as he is fat. Jim.
I was an M60 (not the E3) asst. gunner, then gunner so very long ago. Sure, the 240 is heavier, but 23#+ vs. 27#+ feels roughly similar after a few miles. I familiarized with the 240, but my unit did not have them when I was there. I was solidly a "pig" fan...but I was brought up by senior NCOs who still remembered 'Nam.Ok, but YOU have to ruck it, and it can't be a Lima.

Oh- to be clear- the only way I'll carry an M60 these days is in the bed of my Ram. I'm content to not try to pretend I'm my 20 something self.
