That's right folks! I am writing a check for my C&R renewal and looking at the Holy Checkbook of Eternal Supply the last check I wrote was in April of 2016.

At this rate of 1 check / 32 monthes I have enough checks to carry me for the next 800 monthes.

Whodathunk?

Now here is the real question: Presuming I would actually live that long, which I won't, would there be anyone out there in 2085 that would TAKE a check?

I can top that. . . . . .I don't even HAVE any checks for any of my checking accounts! One is over 35 and possibly over 40 years old and I haven't written a check on it since 1998!

Sheesh.

We write checks to pay for my son's tuition... We write a check to put $ into my daughter's school lunch account... We write checks to pay for day care...

And by "we", I mean my wife. *I* write like 1 check per year - usually to a service technician.

I had my driveway sealed. They would not take a debit or credit card. I had to look for my checkbook and found it. I last wrote a check in April 2014!

I find myself rolling my eyes and quickly getting annoyed when someone pulls out a checkbook at the cashiers stand then have to remember, it's all good, the extra 2 minutes isn't going to kill me!
