HIT BY A CAR!

Yeah. So Wednesday evening I was walking across Delaware Street, with the light, and some guy turned left and ran me down. I don't know what he looks like or what kind of car he was driving. I was walking, got hit, and the next thing I know I was on the ground, with an ambulance pulling up, a cop was there, and people were telling me not to get up. I must have been knocked out.

This really hurt.
I know pics or it didn't happen...

Gotta take the hit-by-a-car selfie!

At least now when I say I feel like I was hit by a car I'll know what I'm talking about.

I don't know to be honest. I was out. When I came to I went right into the ambulance. Police report isn't available yet.

You might want to check into the businesses near by that might have security cameras that got footage of this to catch the vehicle & plate number.

Thanks. I'm okay. Just ruined my good looks. Or made me better looking depending on your point of view.

Yes and yes. I elected to go to Methodist because I know they'll just keep it in the security room and I can get it when I leave. Eskenazi will give it to the police to put in their property room and then I gotta go there to get it.

So Methodist it was.

Ouchie. I got hit by a car and it took a few days for the worst of the injuries to become apparent, so be careful for the next few days. I found therapeutic massage worked wonders for the sore muscles and locked up muscles in my neck. Just do your research and get someone who knows what they are doing.
