This will be the second of two we are hosting with Henk this year.
Introduction:
In this training course we will teach you the fundamentals of how to FIGHT with the AK rifle. This training program is designed for serious students, expect a fast pace, and many repetitions. Although our terminology might be the same as other trainers and schools, please note that we teach DEFENSIVE SHOOTING skills used under DURESS. All tactics and techniques taught, from Levels 1 - 3, are reality based and street proven. This training program is geared towards the first line of defense against crime and terrorism, the Police Patrol Officer, SWAT Operator, Counter Terrorism Teams, and Qualified Civilians.

Location: Nappanee Conservation Club, Nappanee Indiana
Cost: $420 (includes $25 range fee collected the first day of class)
Round count: 1000 rds carbine, 150 rds pistol

Use of the AK type sights
Rifle marksmanship under duress
Firearm manipulation under duress
Correct mounting of the rifle for DEFENSIVE SHOOTING
Trigger manipulation under duress
Emergency gunfight shooting positions
Stoppage reduction under duress
Sustainability under duress
Multiple target engagement
Close quarters battle shooting techniques
Physical maintenance of the rifle system under fighting conditions.
Transition to secondary weapons
GEAR REQUIREMENTS:
You must have the following gear:
Eye and Ear protection (electronic ear pro is highly recommended)
Brimmed hat or ball cap
Pen / pencil & notepad (something you can keep with you all day for notes)
One serviceable AK with good quality sling or carry strap
4 serviceable AK magazines (minimum, more is better)
Carbine magazine carrier/s to carry at least two 30 round magazines or three 20 round magazines on body
One Serviceable pistol
Pistol holster (must hold pistol securely during strenuous activities)
Pistol magazine carrier (two magazines for single stack guns, single magazine for high cap guns minimum)
1000 rounds of rifle ammunition
100 rounds of pistol ammunition.
One open mind and a dedicated spirit willing to learn new tactics, techniques, and principles.
Optional equipment:
Gloves (mechanics or specialty i.e. flight gloves, hatch, Blackhawk, etc.)
Neck cover (keeps brass out of the shirt)
Knee / Elbow pads (we will be kneeling and going prone, these are helpful)
Dump pouch (to keep expended magazines off the deck)
