Hey guys, so I've got ~$120 to blow on a new knife. I'm considering branching out into Spyderco as I've owned a variety of Benchmades and love them all, but I want to try something new.

    What should I look at?
I'm wanting a decent sized folder, similar in size to full-size benchmade models (Griptilian, etc)
I don't want any of those crazy ass serrated models

Other than that I'm really open to suggestions

Edit: I'm also open to ZT suggestions

Not a Spyderco expert here, but if you want something different you may look at a Zero Tolerance 0350. Very nice knife if you ask me.

Brad will be at the Lafayette show next weekend on Sept 29,30. You should go and fondle some of his Benchmade and Spydies. I am sure he has a knife just for you to take home....:D

Edited....... Brad also has Zero Tolerance knives in stock too.... ZT's are some bad ass knives...

I like the looks of it and the price. I've been wanting to try it as well. Is it available in non-spring assist?

Some you could look at, but might be a bit higher than your desired price.

    Manix, Manix II
    Para-military, para-military II
Spyderco Sage is a little smaller than what you said, but in S30V steel and Titanium scales it is quite a nice piece. I've got one for sale.

I picked up my Spyderco Gayle Bradley for $128. The blade is CPM-M4, and the knife has been phenomenal as an EDC.

And yes, M4 isn't stainless. A little bit of oil and cleaning on a regular basis and you'll be fine.

Is this a defense knife you are looking for? I carry a Cold Steel Spartan big but sharp as can be and you wont be breaking it any time soon. Blade rusts easy because of the metal they made it out of but other than that amazing knife.
