I think the Cicero/Arcadia people (my family from up there included) won't make it past Tim's Shooting Range in Westfield. :)

The Indy people who (legally) shoot have already moved to Carmel. ;)

Actually some of us moved to Fishers and only work in Carmel because we can't afford to live there. :spend:

I think you're looking for the Carmel Politics thread. :) And, yeah, the premium to live in Carmel pretty much sucks. As taxes (and "fees") have increased, Westfield is looking more and more appealing.

That's funny, my route from the range to home on the West side of Noblesville consists of 10 roundabouts, one stop light there at Old Meridian and one four way stop. If I hit the light on a green and I blow the stop sign, I can get all the way home without coming to a complete stop once.

FYI, More than likely we will not make the May 21st date for a soft opening. All comes down to the parking lot.

When we have a firm date, I will post it here.

What happened to late April? Is it now late May or early June?

The weather this spring has held up the construction of the parking lot. Since we don't have a parking lot yet, Carmel won't let us take occupancy of our building which means we can't move inventory in yet. As soon as the lot is in, look out!

There is a good 6" of gravel down now. So no more dirt. Now we have to wait a couple days for it to dry out AGAIN, and then they can put asphalt down. Of course, more rain is in the forecast.

And I spotted both of the big two package delivery services simultaneously dropping off what is hopefully some inventory.
