    • You are correct on terminal ballistic facts, but others will never believe what they insist on ignoring.

      Some Hillbilly wisdom:
Don't never try to teach no pig to sing. Ya jes frustrate youseff and annoy the pig!

There is nothing inferior about terminal performance of the .357 Sig. It is the same as good 9mm ammo but at higher prices with lower availability, more muzzle blast and flash, more recoil, and more wear and tear on a gun.

It is like the .45 GAP: a problem still desperately in search of a problem.
The .357 Sig has gathered a following of people that believe more velocity, more muzzle blast, and more recoil necessarily make a cartridge better for personal defense. They also cling to the erroneous conception that energy is a wounding mechanism.
ElMaestro...after my favorite all-time driver. It's nice to meet people who are on both boards. Welcome to INGO!
Wanted to rep you for your post (#78) in the common sense vs 4 rules discussion on safe gun handling but I've maxed out for the time being. Have to wait to reload. But you hit the nail on the head with the "it's not about YOU" comment.
