I mean, I went to one at a comic convention a month ago. My teens were curious and so we had a talk before. It was advertised as "family friendly". And it was so far as costumes, songs, "gyrations" etc. As far as sexual/suggestive moves it was on par with a college dance/cheer type event. (racy but not lewd)

Though I think they were doing it wrong. One performer was a gay woman performing as.... a woman. Not sure how that qualifies as drag, but whatevs.

But then again these were mostly teens and young adults in the audience. It wasnt elementary age kids like some of these things are.

And I suspect what I saw was not the norm, given multiple reports we are seeing.
