Missed him! He was working for them
Yes, but only because his local patron BSed them into believing he was NOT a Jew when he in fact was.

The fact that he worked in the process of rounding up other Jews and in an interview in the last 10 to 15 years called it the best time of his life eliminates any question of there being a special place in Hell for him.

The prosecution's entire strategy seems to revolve around manufacturing tears and "powerful moments" that will play well on social media. Why are jurors allowed to remain on the jury if they won't even watch evidence? Is there anyone who hasn't sobbed on the stand like they're going for an Emmy?

The legal system has been thoroughly clowned just like the rest of our society.
We’re not watching the same trial. The prosecution lawyers are capable and their case seem strong in comparison to Chauvin’s attorney. The defense has had a few questions not pan out like they wanted.

We could use a man like Simon Wiesenthal again

Didn't the girlfriend testify that they were both raging oxy addicts who had overdosed before? Didn't she also testify that his friend, who was with him the day he died, was their primary dealer? The prosecution basically proved already that he scored drugs that day, immediately got blitzed, and OD'd.

The dealer is now pleading the Fifth and refusing to testify because he's been outed as Floyd's dealer. He doesn't want to talk because he knows he killed him.

I would hope they were capable. They are supposedly the top private lawyers the .gov could hire.

The video of Floyd in the store sure doesn't look like a dude with a fatal overdose.

Much like any competent legal team you can expect them to use any trick they can come up with. Playing on a jury's emotions can be a powerful tool, and they are playing to win.

...if it doesn't fit, you must aquit.

That was before he hid the drugs inside himself, was it not?
My understanding of the timeline is that he ingested the drugs prior to going in the store. He did not do them when being confronted by the store manager.

Maybe he did them in the presence of the police, but I don't think the body camera footage showed anything like that.

He acted like he was on drugs during the whole interaction with the police but that can't be definitely determined from his behavior - maybe he is always that stupid.

How quickly after a suspect goes unconscious should a knee upon a neck be released?

    Instantly? 1 minute? 5 minutes? 9 minutes 29 seconds?

He took some earlier, then apparently took more after the police arrived.
“While they were in the car, Mr. Floyd consumed what they thought to be two Percocet pills,” Nelson said, referring to Hill and another friend, Maurice Hall.

Chauvin’s defense argued Floyd put drugs in his mouth in an effort to conceal them from police.

An autopsy later found fentanyl and methamphetamine — a narcotic concoction known as a “speedball” — in Floyd’s system, Nelson said.

“The evidence will show that when confronted by police, Mr. Floyd put drugs in his mouth in an effort to conceal them from police,” the lawyer said.
