I think Travis will be alright. One he wraps his head around the change.
He seems resourceful.

Since it's over now, I went back to the shotgun scene. Turned on the captions. I heard a single click each time, not a pump. The captions said, "Daniel cocks gun" each time.

The original walking dead made a big screw up worse that this on the pilot episode that just about kept me from watching the show. I quickly overlooked it once I watched more though.

I like the Johnny Depp guy. He knows what's going on, kind of, but nobody listens to or trusts him because of the dope. He'll have a hell of a time getting clean but eventually he will be the "Glen" of this show.

I just remember reading tons of stuff before the show started that talked about how they took so much pride in getting everything as accurate as they could and taking lots of care not to make mistakes. They made special effort to use as little CGI as possible and make things look as real as possible. Then they go and do that.




They were forgiven pretty quickly.

Wonder if that "You know how I feel about guns..." mindset is going to persist throughout the series... or get turned around real quick. He definitely has that bleeding-heart thing going strong. Needs a quick slap of reality to knock it out of him.
