Was in Dick's yesterday and picked up a case of Remington .223 55gr mc for $69.99. That's 6.99/box of 20 or $.35/@. Pretty good price if you need some now. Hope it helps somebody!

Actually, I believe that's a fifth case. 10 boxes at 20 rounds = 200 rounds for $70, or $350 a case. Not a really good deal, but not terrible either.

I think the sale ended yesterday. I just picked up an S&W Sport on Friday evening, so I was on the hunt for ammo this weekend to shoot on Sunday.

I picked up 8 boxes of this and the person handling the hunting area actually encouraged me to buy a drink and get the survey invitation on that receipt and he would connect me on a PC in the store and let me answer the survey to get the $10 off $50 to use toward the ammo. The coupon technically excludes ammunition, but they did not have any issue taking it.

So 8 boxes for $49 and some change, after coupon.

I shot 4 boxes of it on Sunday and it seemed to function well. This is my first .223/5.56 rifle, but seemed like good ammo to me.

What are you shooting it through? My Savage hates Remington, and so does my Bushmaster.
