    Pros:
Great pistol and great value for the money
    Tough and reliable
    Accurate
Used to be could buy the pistols and the mags surplus - don't know what the market is like now though.
I have heard good things about the service at CZ USA. Don't know if that extends to the surplus imports by people other than CZ USA.

    Cons:
DA trigger is a bit heavy and a bit long of a pull. Might not be friendly to those with small hands or short fingers.
Depending on the model, may have cheap/cheesy/hard to see front sight (could be upgraded I guess)

No personal experience with this, but I have heard third hand rumors that the ones in .40 cal can have reliability issues. The 9mm ones are super reliable. The .45 acp model (cz 97) may need polishing/tweaking to feed hollow points. Other people say all their CZ are 100% reliable.

Personally I would stick with 9mm or .45 acp in CZs because that's what the guns were originally designed for - but plenty of CZ fans would disagree with me on that.

FWIW - I have a EAA Witness (Italian CZ clone) in .45 ACP and it's an awesome shooter. antsi is right about the physical size and trigger pull, but I've got big hands so it's not an issue for me. KS&E usually keeps the CZ's in stock and at a good price too.

I've actually purchased a couple of guns from KS&E, but it's been quite a few years since I've been there. I'll have to stop by and see them, it's just a few miles from where I live.
    Thanks

i have short fingers and find the standard cz75b a bit of a reach. barring that, i love mine. very reliable. when my arthritis is acting up and the DA trigger is too much, i can "cock it and lock it" much like a 1911.

I had a 75b, and right out of the box was the most accurate 9mm i've ever fired. I never had feed problems, or any reliability issues with it, plus the magazine capacity is fantastic. I ended up selling it to my father simply because the design isn't what I wanted, but will be looking for a baby eagle.
fya, i bought my 75b at gander mountain in castleton, $500- 519 depending on black or dual tone, i don't know if this is still the price, but they are still CZ dealers.

was 599$ on sale +tax.... +35$ delivery and +35$ transfer. 70$ extra because I didn't wanna drive 4hrs to Hammond Ind.

CZ-custom has the regular Stainless with cheap black grips for 630$ delivered.
So I get the 50$ coco-bolo wood grips and a POLISHED STAINLESS for 5$ more and would have had to pay a transfer fee anyways. And I read on the forums these have have a trigger job as well. (not confirmed yet) LOOKS? LIKE I GOT A DEAL! (IMO ANYWAYS)

I had a 75BD, the decocker version, that I really liked. The long trigger reach did make it a little tough to shoot DA.

Czs are about quality. I have never a stoppage of any kind of stoppage. I have had 4 of them. I still have 2. The others were stolen. I hope they shoot themselves in the pods. There is a special place in Hell for gun thieves.

I'm an inveterate 1911 fan and I've got to say that the CZ75 is noted for its lack of suckage. ;)
