What is the thought. Was going to get one for my glock 23 to convert it to a 9mm. If I do this do I need to change the extracted and ejector to 9mm version to make all right or am I good with the 40's. Also spring change. Thanks in advance.

Just be sure to get the CONVERSION barrel... A G19 barrel wouldn't work... I have always fared well with the Lone Wolf barrels. The only issues I have ever had with aftermarket barrels have been with the more expensive KKM barrels...

No need to change ejector or extractor... The same recoil spring will work also... You will want to get a 9mm mag though (G19 for flush fit).

I was planning on a lone wolf for sure a lot of great reviews on them. But I seen that somebody said to change the internals also.

I've seen it go both ways, sometimes just the barrel makes a great running pistol, but I have seen others that didn't work until the extractor and ejector were switched out.

I have had three of the lone wolf barrels. All worked fine. For the G23 just switch the barrel and use G19 mags.

I run a LoneWolf 27-9 conversion barrel in my G27 and use G26 mags. I've put hundreds of rounds through that .40-9mm barrel without even so much as a hint of an issue. It's been reliable enough that I am comfortable carrying with it configured that way. I'd get one for my G23 but already have a G19 and don't need to go that route.

I bought a LW 40 t0 9m conv bbl for my Glk 22 years ago. Worked fine, but my groups looked like it was fired from a shot gun, sent it back. I have had a Storm Lake 40 to 9mm for Sig 226. It was as good as a 9mm in a 226-shot and worked great. also had a Fire Dragon for a 40 to 9mm Sig 239. It worked and shot fine. Good Luck I would buy the drop in, not fitted .

I use KKM conversion barrels in both my G23 and G35. They work flawlessly, highly accurate, and are manufactured in the USA. I also purchased colored baseplates for quick magazine caliber reference.

I bought a Lone Wolf 40 to 9mm conversion barrel for my G23 and never once had a problem with the pistol running 100%. Just change the barrel and the magazine and I've been good to go. I've fired a few thousand rounds through it.
