Rizhao in Shandong Province shows a line of tanks surrounding a local bank branch to prevent disgruntled citizens from withdrawing their money, which the government is now classifying as “investment products,”

Seen a video last week of china citizens confronting thier police trying to access a bank. Surprising seeing the uprising in such an tyranical government.

Some big trouble brewing over in China? Another Tiananmen Square coming up?
I think so. ChiComs are getting a jump on it this time. They have no problems curb stomping their people.

China has been having A LOT of trouble in the last couple of years. One of the biggest companies on earth, Evergrande, (second largest real estate company in China and 122 largest company on earth) defaulted on loans a few months ago, they can’t get enough coal to run power when needed each day, extreme “zero Covid” lockdowns shutting down cities with more people than most states for weeks at a time.

People are getting fed up over there and these are just the bubbles starting to come to the surface. I think we will see some large uprisings in the next several years as people get more and more fed up with the issues already happening and the things the CCP are pushing like going fully digital with their money on top of their “social credit system”. People are going to a brick when they do something innocuous and the government sinks their social credit score and locks down their bank accounts.

P.S. Digital dollar coming to a bank near you soon likely with a gov/big business corun social credit score based on your “carbon and social footprint” don’t own an electric car/take public transportation and own guns? I’m sorry mr. Jones, you have fallen into the lowest category and your loan interest rates have increased another 2% to offset the harm of your choices, have a nice day!

My fear is if china party leaders feeling various pressures from political rivals will launch Taiwan invasion in a bid to show political strength?

A big problem is how little coverage our media is giving any of this. Hard to find examples of how bad communism is when it's hidden away from everyone :(
The CCP doesn't like it when they're made to look bad. US companies beholdin' to the CCP know who butters their bread.

Which is why Americans should adopt a debt-free lifestyle. It has been discussed here before. It requires a lot of planning and effort. It requires the willingness to delay gratification. It requires having the ability to convince everyone in your household to fly (or spit) in the face of every single mind-bending, twisted message being Tsunami'd upon us in media and entertainment.

Being in debt is being someone else's slave.

    It's a trap, not a lifestyle!

    .
I've told friends over the years to look at what they have around their house or business that they use every day that comes from China, simple things like light bulbs. When the boats stop, it's going to take time to build more American light bulb factories so for a while you will either be in the dark or paying big money for them on Ebay, regardless if there is electricity or not.

Our media is beholden to the CCP. THEY ARE NOT INDEPENDENT! They crave Chinese money and it’s market and have sold their first amendment birthright for temporary riches.

I believe the above is the best expression of normalcy bias and the arrogance of affluence you can find. An entire industry, built on freedom of speech, selling their soul to totalitarian governments…

Reminder that your "money" in the bank does not actually exist, the bank is not required to keep essentially  any money on hand to cover your account, and once CBDC comes the government will be able to change or zero out the "value" of your "money" at the push of a button.
