I will be very happy if I'm wrong about AR15, however having watched Jalen at Bama and Oklahoma, one could tell who he was and his upside.

His character, poise, and willingness to do what needed to be done for the team to win, including adapt and learn, even if that meant him not being the one.

I can see the physical about AR15 but not the rest, because he just hasn't had the experience yet.

Jalen Hurts squatting 600lbs would tend to give the dude some swagger.

First, I'll explain why my opinion is worthless. The year, 1998. I'm certain! Ryan Leaf is the best pick at QB. So, take this next quip with a grain of salt...

Every few years the NFL has an epiphany that "pocket passers" are antiquated. The future is a QB that can run. Then in short time, pocket passers are back in vogue. All that to say, I hope this AR15 kid can read a defense. Scrambling is fun to watch, but quickly processing a defense and making on-target throws seems to be the better way to winning long term. I was rooting for Will Levis- see disclaimer above.
Remember the read option fad in the NFL? An athletic QB who is healthy can ad that mobile aspect to the playbook exploits that. But then everything hinges on the QB’s health. RGIII was phenomenal in his rookie year. Got hurt. Then pretty much done because he didn’t have the speed fto use his mobility chops, and he didn’t have a strong drop back game.

I hope AR can do both. Straud can.

The Titans just drafted Will Levis who could soon be the oldest starting QB in the AFC South.

He is older than Richardson, Stroud and Lawrence. Could be a really young group of QBs.
Odd that three of the top 4 QB’s in the draft went to the same division. We’ll see which teams made the best choices.

Yeah, and it's crazy that if they all earn a starting role by the end of the season the oldest starting QBs in the division will be Levis and Lawrence at 24.

That and he has a mental game and a great attitude and work ethic.
And even when he went from starter to coming in when needed behind Tua it was evident who he was and the talent he had. The swagger was there when appropriate but so was the humility.

Well. Brock Purdy belongs on that list if his arm heals okay.
