He’s been inconsistent for sure but there’s upside there. This is probably the Parris Campbell replacement, who also struggled with consistent production.

It would be genuinely hilarious if Gardner Minshew has a ‘22 Geno Smith type year and the Colts are a fringe playoff team next season. Career backup guy who gets another chance and balls out.

Maybe a 5% chance of that happening, but it would be quite a story lol

I could be wrong obviously but I don’t think it makes much sense to sign Jackson. Jackson is definitely a “win now” option. And if that’s the case, why let Gilmore go? He was arguably your best player on defense. I would think they would want lots of talent around him. We’re pretty bare at corner and wide receiver.

Everyone in the world knows he’s going to have a playing weight or 185-190, regardless of what he weighed at the combine. Either you decide as a franchise that you’re cool with that or you pass on him. Not that big of a deal.

Yeah, man. Like the Bears this last year. Sure they were trash, but they were fun to watch, made some exciting plays! Whereas Colts were just bad, not even fun. Hoping next year has a bit more fun to it, even if it involves some rebuilding.

But if I’m Lamar, I’d be begging for a team from the NFC to trade for me. Get me the heck out of the AFC. Lamar would instantly be the best quarterback in the whole conference. Way easier road to a championship.

The only thing better than an easy conference is an easy division, it would be pretty exciting to see Lamar lead the AFC South with the Colts.
