Colin Kaepernick protests the Anthem

I responded to a question, if he really stated something.
So, I posted his twitter feed, and the date to look for.

What he said was "ironic".
"Don't bring politics to football."

You dont think he was being sarcastic?

It's not that simple. NFL teams don't want people to be offended. The NFL wants people to go to their games. So they're trying to dance around the middle as best they can so they offend the fewest people.

That is what is happening.

It hurts them much more if you do not watch them on TV. The NFL gets much more revenue from TV advertising than they do from ticket sales. This is why the news media is focused on the falling Nielsen Ratings. In case you didn't know it, quite a few TV set top boxes can and do communicate what you watch and record. Nielsen's Live Plus incorporates what people do with their DVRs and set top boxes into their ratings. Just because you don't have the famous "Nielsen Box" in your house that keeps track of what you watch, don't think what you're watching isn't being measured.

If you want to vote your displeasure with your wallet, stop watching anything NFL or NFL-related on TV.

Employed nonetheless! Kap is grasping at straws, and paying his people(with I would assume dwindling reserves) to make relevant an irrelevant being. He and or his squeeze mad his bed, which he now has to lie in! Talk about oppression!

Let’s just say Tebow’s kneeling isn’t why he’s not employed. Teams gave him more of a chance than he earned. He probably could have made it in the nfl in another position, but he insisted he’s a quarterback. Well, not at the NFL level he’s not.

Other than being a financial liability to team owners, outside of the spectacle of kneeling, there’s no reason Kaepernick couldn’t at least be a backup.
