I think an email would work better than putting your number out in public.

You could easily create a specific family just for this.

you could also setup a free gmail or yahoo account just for this. Then publish the email address. By the time the spammers find it, you'll have abandoned it.

At the top right of a page, you'll see your screen name and an envelope next to it. That is your PM/conversations

I will be coordinating the side dish and dessert contributions. I'll set up a spreadsheet this weekend to start recording what we can bring. If you know what side dish or dessert you are bringing, and how much of it as well, please pm me.

Thank you! Damn, I thought COBOL was weird using hexadecimal (and binary) for certain numbers and characters. BTW, a 40 (hex) is a space in mainframe file when viewed in hex.
