Someone had mentioned maybe putting a donation jar out at the memorial but we haven’t fully decided on that yet
I totally agree with the donation jar. I personally know the expenses of the medical bills and such, been dealing with it for three years myself. Your dad and I talked about it a few times. He was looking for a Stainless TRP for a new project and I sold him mine at a good price. He knew I could use the money, I had just got kicked to the curb from my job because of the Cancer treatments left me unable to twist those wrenches anymore.
His family was the most important thing in his life and he would never would be the one to ask for help. We, his friends are the ones to help anyway possible.
    Put the jar out please.
    Body willing, I'll be there.
God bless and always remember the good times.

I will be coordinating the side dish and dessert contributions. I'll set up a spreadsheet this weekend to start recording what we can bring. If you know what side dish or dessert you are bringing, and how much of it as well, please pm me.

Just as a general consideration, will there be a way to keep hot things hot, and cold things cold, until we want to start eating? Might influence the side dishes that people bring.

    Bummer.
A seminar I'm attending starting Thursday, the 22nd, I thought ended Sunday am, but found out today it ends Sunday evening, so regretfully, I'll not be able to attend.
I was really looking forward to hearing more stories about Tim.
I've enjoyed reading the "Memory of Our Friend, Churchmouse...." thread this past week of such depths of character, service & generosity. :coffee:

    I have a medium-large Lifetime cooler I can bring.
I also have a small, 2 burner propane cookstove that will keep stuff hot if we run out of griddle space.

You might mention this in the actual food thread, CM’s daughter had mentioned she was trying to keep track of it over there.
    Just a thought.

    For those who maybe haven’t seen it yet;

That's a good point. I don't know what the facilities have to offer, but it might be safe to assume that anything that needs to be kept warm/cold should be brought in something that can keep them warm/cold. As I find more info, I'll post here.

In addition to a jar, maybe a Paypal address or the name of someone who has one that donations can be sent to?? I am not going to be able to attend but would like to contribute. I prefer not to do it thru gofundme...would rather just send it directly to Tara or Cindy if that is an option.

I’ve been wondering if someone close to them could describe what needs there are, whether it’s shorter term needs or if it’s something like a collage/post secondary training fund for the terrorists or others.

And if anyone does do this, make sure you choose friends and family so they get 100%. The other (goods and services? ) takes a small percent away.
