Lawyers at the Rutherford Inst. are assisting Brandon Raub, the former Marine incarcerated in a mental ward for a week because of posts he'd made on Facebook which were critical of the government, in filing a lawsuit against the FBI and several apparatchiks in the Chesterfield Co., VA mental health and law enforcement apparatus for violations of his 1st and 4th Amendment rights.

And this is why as a veteran I am nervous about the VA. Have PTSD? Lose your 2nd amendment rights.

I just hope that this Marine wins and wins big time. The sad part though is it will not stop the government's behavior.

not exactly what grounds he feels he has for a lawsuit? Most states provide the ability for police to take those in need of mental health help into custody. A judge seems to have agreed he needed treatment? Sounds like due process is working.

Maybe those who grew up with him know more about him than we do? Maybe they are just .gov snitches?
