When I saw this news story my BS meter pegged in the FAKE NEWS zone.
A Twitter post photo of a letter from a boy asking Santa to talk to God and ask Him if He still loves him because he is gay. Media believes everything posted on Twitter as fact and picks up the story of the letter.
I question whether a child that is still young enough to believe in Santa (under 8 yrs old?) would be capable of deciding he is gay and that a letter to Santa is merited without some adult guidance/encouragement.
If you are worldly enough to understand sexual orientation you should also be sophisticated enough to dispel the idea that an overweight stranger breaks into your house once a year to leave you gifts.
Maybe a social justice media hype for LGBTQ in the midst of a BLM, covid, election year that has kinda pushed LGBTQ off the front page?
