I’ve seen a few in my neck of the woods. Lots of holes, one flier rhat landed on my shirt this morning. One new shed on the side of the house, and one headless corpse on the porch. I have yet to hear any sing.

Friend of mine just sent me this pic from a pond in Monroe County. Albino or different species or just a young one that hasn't shed the white shell? Quick google search isn't helping much.

I think the white one is fresh out of the shell and will turn to black soon. Not sure exactly how long it takes.

At a buddies house near Helmsburg. He was telling me about birds pecking the ground more than normal across his yard.

He showed me where and all the empty casings. We started seeing a white one, then a black one, then they were flying around us. Few dozen were seen after that and dozens more flying.

They are very noticeable at my house today. Lots of wings everywhere, left over from the birds.

Plenty of just formed bugs too. In various stages, they seem barely mobile. Only a rare flier and no noise yet.

You take really good pics.
    Mine always look like crap.
It's not me, it's my phone. A Galaxy Note 9. It does the work pretty good most of the time.

I've gotten to where the phone's camera may be more important than the rest of the works. I'm sure a newer flagship phone would be even better, out of my price range though.
