carry my p220 most days and my p229 the other days.I spent nearly a decade jumping around different platforms in search of what works best for me. When I started shooting the classic metal framed Sigs, I stopped looking. It could be that I shoot them well or it could be that I just got tired of chasing perfection and Sigs are where I sat down when the music stopped last.
One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that it does not matter as much what you carry but more that you do carry and that you are competent in the use of whatever it is.
It makes perfect sense, except mine had a dime taped to it.What a great idea for a thread. I'm kind of surprised nobody has thought of before now.
I carry a "If found passed out or deceased, please call my wife at ****" business card with a quarter laminated to it.
It made more sense when I was a drunk and pay phones were a thing.
Before deciding what to carry on any particular day, I have to decide if I'm going to wear pants that day. Sometimes I just can't decide.
.
I'm going to start using the Altoids tin ideaAbout once a year I will play along with these types of threads. As I get ready for the day or empty my pockets at night, I will snap a picture. My “EDC” varies a bit. Today it will look like this:
Walther PPS M1 in a Mitch Rosen Upper Limit. Belt Man belt.
Southern Grind Folder
Swiss Army Knife
SureFire Tactician
Small boo boo kit in an Altoids can
Keys, wallet, iPhone
