I spent nearly a decade jumping around different platforms in search of what works best for me. When I started shooting the classic metal framed Sigs, I stopped looking. It could be that I shoot them well or it could be that I just got tired of chasing perfection and Sigs are where I sat down when the music stopped last.

One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that it does not matter as much what you carry but more that you do carry and that you are competent in the use of whatever it is.
carry my p220 most days and my p229 the other days.

    i just love my sigs

What a great idea for a thread. I'm kind of surprised nobody has thought of before now.

I carry a "If found passed out or deceased, please call my wife at ****" business card with a quarter laminated to it.

It made more sense when I was a drunk and pay phones were a thing.
It makes perfect sense, except mine had a dime taped to it.

Before deciding what to carry on any particular day, I have to decide if I'm going to wear pants that day. Sometimes I just can't decide.

    :@ya:.

Pants make a huge difference in a person’s ability to conceal. Without pants, you can darn near CC a full size Garand because nobody will be looking at the gun.

Both have Crimson Trace Laser's. My eyes are as sharp as they use to be.

S&W Shield 45 with extra mag and a Leatherman. Find that I use 1 of them almost daily. You figure out which one.

About once a year I will play along with these types of threads. As I get ready for the day or empty my pockets at night, I will snap a picture. My “EDC” varies a bit. Today it will look like this:

Walther PPS M1 in a Mitch Rosen Upper Limit. Belt Man belt.
    Southern Grind Folder
    Swiss Army Knife
    SureFire Tactician
Small boo boo kit in an Altoids can
    Keys, wallet, iPhone

Yesterday I beat around the house with this in my paint stained cargo shorts pocket. I even risked dying in the streets when I ran to WalMart to grab some cat food and a Nintendo charger. Oh and a swung by GameStop for my daughter.

I try to carry a pistol when I can(G26 or 19 when its colder out), but I always have some sort of pocket knife and small flash light like an olight on me.
