This is working, do not let up! Talked to a bar manager this week, selling 0 BL, longtime customers that always drank BL are mostly switching to Coors. Trying to get distributor to take back the cases he has before they are out of date…

“Frericks warned in a recent interview with The Daily Mail that Bud Light may have only a matter of months to increase its sales, as many retailers "reset" how much shelf space they allocate to a product in September based on sales data from April to July.”

“This means that stores could allocate Bud Light's shelf space to its competitors including Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Yuengling, he warned.”

"Those brands will have a better likelihood to succeed longer term, because they have more shelf space, they have more inventory, they have more back-stock, and they have more availability for consumers," Frericks said.”

    More good news…

“The boycott is now causing pain all the way down the supply chain, sales supervisors and distributors for Bud Light told ABC News.“

"Good people are going to start leaving because they aren't making money," former Anheuser-Busch InBev executive Anson Frericks told ABC News.”

“In a recent interview, Brooks made it clear that the woke beer brand will be served at his new bar. The multi-platinum artist fired back at individuals calling for a boycott of Bud Light, suggesting that they are “a**holes,” Post Millenial reported.”

    I'm okay with that.
If someone wants to boycott it, that's okay.
But, is it the business's job to boycott for the customer.

If he makes the beer available, and no one buys it.. then good.

That’s kinda where I’m at with it. Not a huge fan of him, but it kinda seemed like a way to cover his ass and not really come down on either side. I could be wrong, haven’t really read everything he said about it.

If you don’t drink it at his bar you are clearly a transphobe, just like if you are a straight male and don’t date a trans.

    From WSJ:

Modelo represented 8.4% of U.S. retail-store beer sales in the four weeks ended June 3, compared with 7.3% for Bud Light, according to an analysis of Nielsen data by consulting firm Bump Williams...

Bud Light’s sales were down about 24% in the week ended June 3 compared with the same week last year, according to Bump Williams. Other Anheuser-Busch brands also have taken a hit, including Budweiser and Michelob Ultra.

The continued decline through May is an ominous sign for Bud Light distributors during what they say is a make-or-break stretch between Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. Most Anheuser-Busch distributors are independently owned, many of them by families who have sold Budweiser for generations. Some Anheuser-Busch distributors said they are now contemplating layoffs. Others who also carry Constellation brands said their losses have been partially offset by Modelo’s surge.

“Our year is screwed,” said an Anheuser-Busch distributor who doesn’t carry Modelo.

Bud Light’s total sales over the first five months of the year are still higher than any other beer, the company said. Anheuser-Busch also remains the largest brewer in the country. But some Bud Light distributors said Tuesday that they believe Bud Light may be permanently dethroned.

“Bud Light first overtook Budweiser as America's top-selling beer in 2001 according to WSJ, and executives are still scrambling to figure out how to turn things around as its reign ends in controversy. Bud Light ads have attempted to return to the brand's mainstay themes such as "football and country music" and is trying to help its distributors by pledging to "buy back unsold cases of beer that have gone past their expiration date."

“Anheuser-Busch InBev’s global chief marketing officer Marcel Marcondes admitted the controversy has been a “wake-up call” for the company.”

“Despite the admission, there has been no apology from the company over the partnership, meaning its customer base will likely continue boycotting for the foreseeable future.”

Have been a Yuengling guy since I first tried it 15 years ago. It's one of the few beer brands still American owned.

Also, Garth Brooks has always leaned and pandered to the Left. Anyone who titles and sings a song "We Shall Be Free" isn't living in the 20th or 21st century. I will say though, he puts on a great show.
