They really stepped in it, though few other conservatives boycotts have been as successful as this so I’m sure they were blindsided by the severity.

“In a letter addressed to the head of Anheuser-Busch’s human resources department, senior vice president at The Human Rights Campaign Jay Brown demanded Anheuser-Busch not stop catering to the LGBTQ community.“

“At this moment, it is absolutely critical for Anheuser-Busch to stand in solidarity with Dylan and the trans community,” the letter began. “However, when faced with anti-LGBTQ+ and transphobic criticism, Anheuser-Busch’s actions demonstrate a profound lack of fortitude in upholding its values of diversity, equity, and inclusion to employees, customers, shareholders, and the LGBTQ+ community.”

“Brown criticized the beer company, calling them cowards for its response to the controversy.“

    A holler in Kentucky

I know what the emergency meeting would be about at my employer if someone did something as stupid as this.

The owner of the company would go around the room going “you get out, and you, and you, and you, and you….).

Then again, the place I work for doesn’t just hire someone because they check the right social credit boxes, we’re concerned about actually getting **** done and out the door to the satisfaction of our customers.

Backlash over Bud Light’s controversial partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney is continuing to take a toll on the brand, new sales numbers show.

For the week that ended April 22, off-premise sales volume, which is the beer sold outside of restaurants and bars, fell by 26.1 percent from a year earlier, Beer Business Daily reports. The week prior they were down 21.1 percent. For the year overall, sales are down 8 percent.

“The shocking deterioration of Bud Light Blue's market share continued apace through the third week of April – and actually somehow worsened. We've never seen such a dramatic shift in national share in such a short period of time,” Beer Business Daily said.

Meanwhile, competitors Coors Light and Miller Lite have seen an increase in sales.

    Wow!

“On Sunday, conservative commentator Ryan Fournier shared a photo on Facebook showing that Costco had drastically slashed the price of their Bud Light 36-packs.”

“Normally priced at around $30, the cases of beer were going for the shockingly low price of $14.97.”

“This means each can of Bud Light in the pack costs about 41 cents.”

You cant even get the cheapest generic pop for that. That is starting to approach bottled water cost.
