I'm still trying to picture a Speedway on Holt south of Sam Jones. Unless you go all the way south to Kentucky Ave.

If he meant Lynhurst just south of Sam Jones (at Southern) 18 rounds won't be squat compared to what comes out of the apartments just east.

I did the same thing. I grew up over there and still can't figure out which Speedway he meant. I'll just hit the Shell at the corner of Holt and Minnesota. I'll need a lot more than 18 rounds though, 18 is normal.
