Interesting story and it mentions it happening here in Indiana.
It's like the good Sherriff says. "No warrant, leave my property" Then close the door.

These scum sucking agents of the State toadies have no other recourse but to leave. If they do not then call the regular local authorities and have them trespassed like the good Sherrif says.

Please bear with my paranoia for a moment...

Let's suppose I go with my first instinct - I inquire about a warrant, and in the absence of one, I ask the accompanying trooper(s) to escort them from my property. What happens then?? Do I go on some law enforcement "list" and get pulled over at their every opportunity, for offenses either real or fabricated by them? Am I going to be otherwise punished for my non-compliance?

Just seems like a no-win situation to me...

    Appeasement does not work.

If BATFE is going door to door, do we have to buy anything from them? I'd dang sure bet they don't have anything that can beat Schwans.

I could be wrong, but this seems unlikely to me. I suppose it is plausible that your name could get passed along to local law enforcement, who might keep an eye on you for a while, but they've got much better things to do, especially if your local agency is mostly gun friendly. The ATF certainly doesn't have the resources to hassle every citizen that tells them to take a hike. I wouldn't say anything like that though. I would be firm but polite. Don't stand out.

I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

So many violations of their oath... lost count in just a short video.

I wonder what happens when ATF shows up for your 'audit' and you don't have all the guns/parts they know you previously bought. The mere fact that multiple ATF guys show up wanting you to agree to a unwarranted look-see is, well, suspicious and borders on intimidation.
