Does anyone have feedback on Ashworth College online basic gunsmith coarse?

Just started taking a basic gunsmith coarse and looking for brains to pick if I need help???? Or a near Greenfield that would be OK with some tutoring.

    just north of muncie.
hands on is the best way to learn, but books and online courses cant hurt. if you want to be a professional gunsmith, then you should look into professional training. but for a hobby buy some old guns and start some projects, be safe.

It would be nice if there were more hands on courses around here instead of the online ones. I would love to do it but online is iffy to me. So far I just buy junk guns and fix them.

Books are great for reference in the future,as it is difficult to remember everything.
You might also check local voc.school for machinist classes.

Do you have any experience running machines? If so an online class can be helpful. If not your just going to confuse the Sh** out of yourself and it probably wont due much good. I have been machining for 3 years now and working on my guns for longer I have considered online classes just to learn about the stuff I haven't had the opportunity to do hands on yet.
