    There's a survivors bias in those games that play with fake money.

    There's lots of people making lots of different highly risky bets. The ones you see are the ones that hit it big. If you look closely enough, you'll see the rest of the players have very little money.

    For a game to really teach you right, the game has to last a lifetime.

    Correct. These games can be fun and competitive. They do teach you about the mechanics of investing and possibly how to do research.

    They are absolutely, positively, not to be confused with how you should invest in real life where the high odds of losing much of your money on risky bets have real world impact.
