Npr is a matter of constantly repeating things until your brain is saturated with the viewpoint they want you to have and can't think of any competing idea. In fact, all major news outlets probably fall under this concept.

Years ago I was an avid NPR listener.

This was BR (Before Rush), there was no conservative outlet.

I listened intently to all of their opinions and took a position 180⁰ from whatever they said.

The news media also simply refuses to acknowledge these facts! How else do you explain the random drive by shootings or random shootings into concert goers or people in parks by certain ethnic group members shooting at their own ethnic group members? This also goes for the rash of juveniles committing these shootings without fear of prosecution or human life because they are juveniles.

They don't care. They've learned they can do what they want and then let it wind its way through the courts...however long that takes. In the mean time, they get to do as they wish.

True enough......unless we refuse to comply. They have no way to incarcerate 50 million people, and that "crisis" would force a fast track through the courts.

In an effort to obfuscate this fact, their new tactic is to point out rising crime rates in red states and say "See.....the easy availability of guns is the root of the problem".
This is easily debunked by noting that the only areas in red states with dramatic increases in violent crime are the Democratically controlled blue cities within red states.

No, apparently taking a sledge hammer to a shotgun is all that's required for virtue signaling. Now he was challenged in the comments to do an AR 15, but he said he didn't have one. But he did say his 3 handguns are "gone". He didn't say if he hammered them.

In the video he seemed disappointed that he couldn't really do much visible damage to the shotgun. However, he admitted in the comments that he drank Budd Light before doing it. Which might explain things.

I don't understand this as a virtue signal. I mean. What virtue does he think he's earned? Does he think he's absolved of his great sin of gun ownership? Veterans are no different than the regular population, we all have different views and reactions to our past. One defining factor to my mind is vets understand the idea of why the USA is unique in its freedoms. They also understand a little more what it takes to maintain it. Camaraderie with others even when you have never met on a certain level.

Regardless he is a Bud Light swilling, commie drag queen having a fit.
