I always said we should be paid in cash and then have to go to each of the “donate to this country” offices, illegal immigrants benefit office and a few “able but unwilling” to work individuals and hand over cash from what you earned. This crap would stop immediately. It is easy to “procure” what someone else has earned if they never get to touch it in the first place.
Agreed, we definitely shouldn't be in the business of sending money to countries that want to destroy us.. as far as those 2 branches of the military go, I always try to have my biblical glasses on when looking at a picture and in that I know God tells us that anyone that gets involved In that middle eastern cauldron will be swallowed into it.. that where I would just as soon we didn't have them and divert that money in part do protecting our shore lines by strengthening naval and air (plus naval and air are less likely to be used against us) let each state have total autonomous control of their national guard, let militas be ready and with air superior and costal superiority there would be no danger of land invasions (at least I don't think any country would be that stupid, especially if they knew we had no issues with melting their country into I giant sheet of glass)
