    I couldn't imagine being a new shooter and starting up right now. Of course, they probably wouldn't know any better, but still the costs are whew.

    I expected it to happen, it is likely to escalate over coming months. I will be surprised if it does not keep increasing if things keep going the way they are going overseas.

    Obviously that will be going up too if powder and primers are going up.
    Yes, reloading supplies will also go up. Already planned for that also. You either have a mindset to anticipate and plan or you don’t. Those of us that were raised by parents that lived through the impact of the Great Depression know this.

    I think the letter was put out to induce panic buying. I visited some larger ammo sellers this weekend and their shelves were sagging with overpriced ammo. No one was buying, in fact I was the only one looking. In this economy where a family buys groceries one week and gasoline next because both can't be bought the same week, the ammo shelves will be sagging more.
