Oh boy do I have a new one for you.

Just bought a Kindle from Amazon (would have been nice for my Great Wolf Lodge trip, but I digress). $288 and some change for the bundle because well I need accessories; don't judge me.

Mother Joshnbb reaches out to me today and wants me to share the purchase link with her and wouldn't you know, it's now almost $70 cheaper.

Contacted Amazon for a credit and you guessed it, they won't.

There is a bit of irony that the bundle has been certified climate friendly but they would rather me send it all back and repurchase to obtain the lower price.

If you have all the original packaging, return the the original for a refund and reorder?

If you choose "didnt arrive in time" there are no return fees.

To me it is no test of morals and ethics if you do it within the return policies of Amazon…

Same thing happened to me witha a different product.

Chatted with a cs rep, said nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager.

Manager gets on and says they can't and blah blah blah. Then offers me a 10$ credit. I took it, the price difference I was asking for was just 7$ and it hadn't shipped.

It's a dumb game but they know not enough people will play it so they win.

I do feel your pain. I bought one on black friday for my church to replace an outdated ipad.

A day later I thought my kids needed new kindles. DENIED. sale was over. *sad trombones*
