Diversion time.. play along!

I saw this on a Facebook page and thought it sounded like a neat idea. You post 30 photos over the next 30 days based on the following criteria:

Day one: a recent photo of you with fifteen facts.
Day two: a photo that makes you happy.
Day three: a photo that makes you laugh.
Day four: a photo of you when you were happy.
Day five: a photo of you and the person you've been closest with the longest.
Day six: a photo of someone who you love.
Day seven: a photo of you and your family.
Day eight: a photo of yourself when you were a kid.
Day nine: a photo of friend(s) from elementary school.
Day ten: a photo of you from a high school yearbook.
Day eleven: a photo of friend(s) from high school.
Day twelve: a photo of friend(s) from college.
Day thirteen: a photo of a recent friend(s).
Day fourteen: a photo from a trip you'll never forget.
Day fifteen: a photo of a fun place.
Day sixteen: a photo of your professional work.
Day seventeen: a photo of your city / town.
Day eighteen: a photo of something you ate today.
Day nineteen: a photo of something that inspires you.
Day twenty: a photo of your creativity.
Day twenty-one: a photo of something you enjoy doing.
Day twenty-two: a photo of something you stand for.
Day twenty-three: a holiday photo.
Day twenty-four: an indoor photo.
Day twenty-five: an outdoor photo of winter.
Day twenty-six: an outdoor photo of spring.

Day twenty-nine: a photo of your favorite animal.
Day thirty: a photo that you find beautiful.

Some of these can be pretty personal, but with some creativity you can still be relatively anonymous.

Day One

Fifteen facts about me:
1. I shot my first firearm in 2008.
2. I only watch two TV shows: Chuck and American Idol.
3. Actually, I own the first three seasons of Chuck on DVD and tend to watch them repeatedly.
4. SIG >> Glock.
5. I'm a girl. I like pink and other girly things.
6. At work, I always have music on, and I'm always singing along with it... off-key and loud.
7. I hate being cold.
8. I'm a life-time member of Girl Scouts.
9. I love to read, especially if there are dragons and/or magic involved. Not a big fan of Anne McCaffrey, though. I don't know why.
10. I love all kinds of music, except country (unless it's Garth Brooks).
11. I can't explain why I adore Scotty McCreery on AI this year, except that he's a throw-back to Garth Brooks.
12. When I was five, I told my dad I wanted to be a paleontologist. I'd learned about them on Reading Rainbow. He had to look the word up.
13. When I was in high school, my goal was to be the head photographer for the National Geographic.
14. I grew up in a Christian Science church.
15. When I was nine, several close family members passed away within a few months of each other. Around that time, my mom bought us a cat. My sister and I decided we should name her after my aunt so that when our aunt died, we'd have something to remember her by. My aunt is still very much alive. We haven't had the cat for 17 years now.

I just hope other people participate, and it's not just me posting photos. And I promise the photo will be *before* I eat it.

Taken in October '10 at my friends wedding. I don't take a lot of photos, so its the most recent I have

Fifteen facts about me:
1. I shot my first firearm in 2006
2. Despite having an engineering degree a homeless man had to show me how to change the wiper blades on my truck once
3. I have a severe case of germ-phobia, which im convinced I gave myself, as I never remember having it as a kid.
4. I often and unironically use the word y'all in day-to-day conversation
5. I once drove from New York to Seattle without the aid of a GPS(40 something hours in one stretch, 2 drivers swapping off)
6. Conversely I also got lost in the town I grew up in.
7. Vegan FTW
8. In the last 5 years I have lived in 5 states
9. #8 was not by choice
10. I once dislocated my shoulder going cow-tipping. There may or may-not have been large quantities of alcohol involved.
11. It is legendary among my friends how clumsy I am, yet somehow I have managed to never break anything (even when I fell out a second story window)
12. I can read and write in a language I don't understand when spoken
13. It took me a while to come up with 15 facts :P
14. I haven't watched/had cable tv in close to a year and I don't miss it.
15. It is one of my life goals to one day visit Israeli to see where the Uzi comes from

Absolutely. I just thought it would be a fun diversion and outside the box from our normal photo threads.

Day Two: A photo that makes you happy

And this one always makes me giggle.

1. I am a giant nerd (see photo)
2. I need to clean my bathroom mirror (again, see photo)
3. I've lost 35 pounds in the last couple of years and managed to keep it off.
4. I'm addicted to Clif Builder's Bars. I eat at least one every day.
5. I consider The Guild and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog to be two of the finest shows made in the last few years. (see #1)
6. I am 100% a "dog person". Gave away the cat several years ago, have never regretted it.
7. I carry a Glock, but wish it was a 1911.
8. 95% of my friends are online. Physical proximity to other people tends to freak me out.
9. I am not a Methodist, but most of my religious activity centers on a Methodist ministry.
10. I share my name with at least one marginally/locally famous person (recently deceased), but we are not related.
11. I tend to read as though my life depends on it, and I am rarely without reading material. My favorite books are The Moon is a Harsh Mistress (fiction) and Healing Our World in an Age of Aggression (non-fiction).
12. I am a big fan of David Weber's Honor Harrington series, but hate almost everything else he's written.
13. My fondest wish is to leave Earth just once before I die.
14. The only TV show that currently holds my interest is Criminal Minds. Everything else just tends to bug me.
15. I started playing World of WarCraft the day it launched, and I'm still playing.

On a rack of servers my company bought from Penguin Computers. Made me laugh when I saw it. (Yes it came from them that way)

Donno about the 80's being awesome, in 89' I was all of 4....

1. I hate to be early, but can never seem to be on time, so that usually means I'm late.

2. I'm a Grandma

3. Old Fashion has been used to describe me.

4. Spontaneous has not.

5. I work 3 part time jobs plus help my hubby farm and raise hogs...yumm bacon!!!

8. I take my dog with me everywhere, including to work everyday.

9. I love to slalom waterski

10. I could waterski by the time I was 4.

11. I used to be a cat person until I found a dog that was as smart as a cat.

So we stole 1034 plastic water cups and used them to construct a tower into the heavens. For reference everyone in that photo is 6 feet tall...

It sounded AMAZING as it all came crashing down.

...and was the last time they let me go to a model-un conference...
