I agree. It seems there is more upside to signing it and taking the heat from his LEO pals if he sees any chance at a future senate run.

I suspect this could be a reason that he pocket-passes it, by taking no action.

A pure political approach from a career politician? He can say "I didn't sign it/back my boy Doug" to one group, "I didn't veto it" to another.

A couple of my sources said he was going to sign. Not really sources, more like "they stopped by the booth at the 1500 and I asked them."

One is the transgender youth participation in sports bill which has also created a bit of a storm.
