I picked up one of these and love it. I throw a cast iron griddle on it and I have a "flat top" that I can smoke with logs, chunks, pellets, charcoal and cook with gas.

I like the versatility of it. Most often, I light off my charcoal with gas then use it as a wood/charcoal combo grill.

Too hot for grilling yesterday. But did do some outdoor "cooking" before the storms rolled through...

That looks so 70's vintage. My dad figured when he wore out 3 boys, 16, 14, and 12, the ice cream was done.

The tabletop one is smaller. The 28” is free-standing, but the legs fold for transport.

That's a nice 'un and I'm ready to order.

I'll have the Italian sausage with bell peppers, onions and mushrooms sauteed in Worcestershire sauce and smothered in mozzarella cheese with an order of Schoop's Irish nachos.

Anyone ever do Flank Steak over charcoal? And sure, for fajitas maybe, but I`m talking about even just to carve Flank Steak to just eat like steak. I know you carve against the grain to keep from making the muscle fiber tough, and probably a marinade doesn`t hurt. But does anybody ever just do a Flank Steak over charcoal?
