Johnson trying his best to pass the fisa bill.
    I hope it expires.

Freedom comes at a price, and that is security. One reason why firearms and carrying firearms was not to be infringed. So each citizen could have security.
If you are at a theater and 100 people are carrying firearms, how long would a theater shooter last?
Goes for malls, schools etc. as well.

If you are at a theater and 100 people are carrying firearms (who have the willingness and ability to use them) how long would a theater shooter last?
I will go out on a limb and state that MOST people are sheep and those who are willing and able to defend themselves or a third party with deadly force are the minority. Were there 100 people in that theater who were willing to take a life but not allowed? I doubt it.

This is one area I agree with most Democrat's. FISA needs to die. This is an unconstitutional law that bypasses the 4th Amendment.

Biggs bills would have forced them to get an actual warrant to use this on Americans, but the uniparty felt Americans don't deserve a 4th Amendment.

Every politician who voted for this needs to be voted out.

The legislation just enacted is still a violation of US citizens rights under the fourth and sixth amendments.

While this vote is absolutely a poke in the eye of any American who even remotely considers themselves as a constitutionalist, the fight may not yet be over.

Very shortly after passage a procedural maneuver was made to force reconsideration. There is yet hope that there will be enough delays to cause section 702 and the related measures to lapse. Further there are reports that the Senate, being filled with full on Communists and subversives, has stated an unwillingness to pass a bill which constrains the unconstitutional acts of government. That would be a win-win in my book.

Johnson's whole bit about having his opinion changed after getting a briefing in the SCIF turns my stomach. Regardless of what was stated in this SCIF that does not change the unconstitutional nature of the legislation or the acts of government employees.

I am frankly disgusted that our elected representatives would believe anything they are told in an SCIF without verifiable evidentiary data. How many times do you need to be demonstratably lied to by the intelligence community before you finally figure out you are being played?

I do not believe it is too much to ask that for a US citizen a warrant be issued by a competent member of the bench stipulating the specific things and places to be searched, and that the US citizen has an opportunity to defend themselves before the FISA Court. Including a speedy opportunity to quash any such warrant when unlawful methods were utilized to obtain information.

Once again, one has to wonder what all the bru-ha-ha was about removing McCarthy.
Gaetz had an ethics claim for banging a minor. McCarthy didn't want to kill it. Gaetz gathered enough useful idiots to rally about the deficit and generic political rants. Useful idiots joined in, and D seized an opportunity. Now, our majority is smaller and less effective. The debt isn't magically better—the biggest political mistake in a while.

The biggest mistake will be not getting rid of Johnson. He's actually the same as McCarthy in dealing with and going along with Democrat's. So nothing is worse its the same.
Actually the biggest mistake was the conservative GOP members voting for Johnson who was pretty much like McCarthy in the first place. Not passing legislation is okay in my book. Hold out until someone decent is accepted as speaker instead of a Democrat with an R beside their name.

OR it was letting people with wildly unrealistic expectations drive a good Speaker out of office.
