These bastards on prime!!!!! We started watching vikings now it has nine days till it expires And we still have two seasons left
    Why are prime bastards?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, much of this content is leased, unless the streamer owns it, and even then it gets stale and they pull it and lease it to another streamer.

Your situation sounds more like my luck. :lmfao:

Once upon a time there were piles of old content ( TV shows, made for TV movies, A and B grade movies) just lying around unused that could be gotten for a little of nothing. Then syndicated TV became a thing and the value went up, but not for most of it.

That is how Netflix became the first big and strongest streamer, (the only one to make money), they got a huge collection of content cheap and sold the heck out of it. Then, realizing they wouldn’t have all this content forever as competitors appeared, they started making their own content too.

If we thought cable was bad, here is how it is going to go down IMO. We are witnessing the demise of cable and fragmentation in the market, that fragmentation is not profitable, we will likely end up with three mega players (equivalent to the old cable companies) that we buy content from and probably pay as much or more than we were with cable…

I may not even watch it, several friends say it is pretty bad, and remember the original was not a cinematic masterpiece, it was a movie so bad it was good, by my take, something impossible to remake.

That's a good description of the original. I didn't mind the remake. It's not a great movie, but I thought it was worth the watch.
