Do they ever actually open the roof other than in preseason? Seems they pretty much always announce the roof will be closed

I don’t know, I seem to recall the roof being opened more often several years back in my first go around as a season-ticket holder. This is only my first year back, so not much to go on.

A top CB is/was a luxury, not a critical need. I'm glad Ballard wasn't entertaining that much money for Snead.

Spend that on a couple vet Safeties instead.

So now if a runner or receiver running is being tackled from behind I suspect they will be taught to make it so the defender comes down in a way that draws the flag and the additional 15 yards…

~260 of such tackles made last season. Something like 15 time-lost injuries out of the 260. So almost 6% of hip-drop tackles sideline the recipient. I wonder what the injury rate for a hip-drop flag pull is? :):
