Silly question. They are posting a PSA about ammo. Good advice for all of us, especially when we can expect bumpy roads in the near future.
Why is it a silly question? The blog post contains NO facts, only conjecture. They claim that counterfeit ammo is being sold. By who?

Not a silly question, but don’t expect an answer.

Many professionals have blogs like this that they use to alert the public to things they become aware of that may be harmful. Few professionals will name those doing this for several reasons, getting sued would likely be at the top of the list.

I've always believed that the internet is no different than real life.
If I walked into the front door of a Brick & Mortar store to the front counter and asked a question, I would get some kind of answer.
We are the customers they are advertising to here.

I stand corrected, it’s not a silly question. I was just thinking you will not get an answer. FYI, I have been to gun shows and made a few bad purchases of remanufactured ammo, did it 3 times and will not do it again. I think they were just saying be careful who you buy from and what you think you’re buying.

I have some reloaded 9mm from a family member that I will not use. Never tried them but I am not about to take that chance.

Some get their underwear in a bunch if anyone suggests that there may be risk in cheap.
There can be a difference between cheap and inexpensive. Although they may coincide, proceed with caution.

I recently came into about 1K rds of 9mm and several hundred rds of .45 ACP reloaded by a good friend who passed late last year. Some of it is old enough that there is no current data available for the powder he used. It may all end up being used as primed brass. Not at all likely to be fired as-is.

Well I have, but what I've noticed when I do see that is the online company only accepts things like Bitcoin, PayPal, etc., Where you'll have no recourse when your items never arrive but your money has been taken

So why not take many samples to a reputable loader and have them pull the bullet and check out the charge. Remeasure whats there instead of more or less recycling that many rounds.

I can pull the bullet and check the charge. "Reputable"? Nobody but the wife and I shoot my reloads so I'm not too worried about reputation. :):
