    • Thank you for the rep Rick! I started thinking that about a month ago when I saw several big R party "bosses" declare for Hitlary just because they couldn't stand Trump. I thought, "F YOU! You built this damned party and when it regurgitates a nincompoop you want to jump ship! You made him, you sleep with him." But I'll still probably vote for Johnson, on principle. - Doug
Thanks for the rep. Looks like you enjoy reenactment. I never had the time to do it or I might have done the same. The Sackett tales helped me pass many a quiet evening in the jungles of Indonesia where we were undistracted by TV.
Hey there. Never worry about it, no offense caused. What caused your family to leave? I only left Northern Ireland 4 years ago after spending my first 29 years there so it's probably a little fresher for me :-D If you come up north let me know and I'll buy you a drink
Thank you kindly for the rep. I'm sure when the system comes back up we'll all be credited with a virtual avalanche of deferred rep. I expect you'll have a couple of those bronze star-thingys overnight :)
Thanks for the rep. I think it's funny when the American media tells the Brits they made the wrong decision, when it's none of our business.
And the youngsters talking about their selfish elders, the same elders that gave the younger generation everything, fought Nazis, and such.
Thank you for the rep Rick. A long time ago I about lost a very good friendship for something I typed in an email. I learned that when all we have are cold words without body language, facial expression, tone of voice, etc what we mean in our typed words can be taken in a VERY different way. Since then I try very hard to read, and sometimes reread, what I have typed before posting it. - Doug
Thanks for the rep, I picked this one up from GB a guy listed as lunker 99 I believe. He has a huge amount of listings and no organization so it's just a matter of sifting through them one by one.
