DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — NASCAR officials have moved Monday’s rescheduled Xfinity Series race until after the season-opening Daytona 500 because of rain.

The Xfinity Series’ United Rentals 300, which was pushed to 11 a.m. ET Monday after its Saturday afternoon slot was also washed away, is now scheduled to start roughly one hour after the Cup Series event, approximately a 9 p.m. ET start time at Daytona International Speedway.

The 300-mile Xfinity event will be televised on FS1 with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Rookie Jesse Love will lead the field to the green flag from the pole position.

I'm really excited to see what Jesse Love does this year in Xfinity. He absolutely dominated the ARCA series last year.

OK, I tried. Turned on Daytona hoping I could find some Excitement. Watched half an hour, got a half hour nap. NHRA Drag Racing will be back on in 2 weeks!

Sounds like Honda will be coming into NASCAR next. I thought Dodge would have jumped back in, guess not. Looks like we are getting the Home Depot Civic.

It was a great finish, but I still just cant get behind the pack racing that the restrictor plates and tapered spacers cause. I don't want drivers to have to be in pack to go fast. I want to see them being able to pass other drivers on their own by out braking them, running a better line, slide jobs, stuff like that, not which line has more cars in it and more momentum.
