Well, you'll have to distinguish between real, church-going Christians, and nominal Christians, because when the secular sociologists do so in their studies, it makes a big difference. "Evangelical" Christians (their word, not mine) have the least domestic violence, lowest divorce rate, and highest marital satisfaction of ALL social groups studied. Nominal Christians are the exact opposite.

You might be tempted to say the same thing about devout vs. secular Muslims.

Then you would have to go into their scriptures to see what they are told to do.

Quite a few Surahs and Hadiths explain how and when to kill or subjugate infidels and how women are second-class citizens, but I'm having trouble finding verses in the New Testament that say the same.

Why do you limit yourself to the New Testament? Christians claim the OT also.

Hamas on the other hand will have up to one month to set up for urban warfare. This will be hard on the IDF troops as urban warfare takes a heavy toll on the attackers. The longer the fight goes the harder it is for Muslim countries to talk to the Israeli government. It will be interesting to see how the IDF handles urban warfare as they come up with innovative methods in the 75 years they have been fighting.

Meanwhile China waits. When Israel goes hot with either Syrian or Iran and America steps in maybe then they blockade a small island to the south and start beefing aggressive.

Our refinery's can not use shale oil. We export shale oil and import Brent crude and mainly Saudi oil.

Now we can build new refineries but that has not happened since the 1980's
